The Annual Banquet at Guildhall in February, a “Summer” event and the Installation Court Dinner in September form the “core” of the events programme. Other functions such as dinners with guest speakers, visits to places of interest within the City and cultural events are arranged whenever possible. The company also participates in inter–Livery events throughout the year such as Golf competitions, swimming and the Clay Pigeon Shoot.

Golf Society

The Company has a Golf Society of long standing.   It was originally formed as part of the Overseas Bankers Club and then became part of the Guild and now the Company.   Golf events are organized by the Secretary, Cliff Knowlden (c.knowlden@btinternet.com) and take place in March, May and October at Walton Heath, New Zealand Golf Club and Swinley Forest.   Guests may be invited to these events.   Additionally, teams are entered into the 2 major Inter Livery Competitions and 2009 will see the inaugural match against D Sqn 256 Field Hospital, our sponsored unit, which it is hoped will become an annual event.   Anyone interested in playing golf should please notify Gaye Murdoch in the Clerk's Office who will ensure that you are added to the mailing list for all events.   All Company members are automatically members of the Golf Society.
